contemplated fading

Breathing deeper for I seek her in the star swept night Beyond the dawn my twilight swan sails across the light I approach her; pull her closer, as I close my eyes My will grows stronger for I long her, this is my demise For she remains a snowflake stained, once again by lust My soul is blushing as she’s crushing all my hope to dust Contemplating as she’s fading fast into the past It’s all too much, tomorrow’s touch is but too far to grasp Now I wonder what of summer, will my sun come forth Very frigid and so rigid is this cold remorse Left to wanting while she’s haunting every ounce of me Clinging tight with fists so righteous that my knuckles bleed Dreadful crying, weak from trying, on my knees I pray Oh Lord take me, don’t forsake me, love do bring my way And not this morbid lust and torture that I seem to beg That is this darkness in my heartless alter ego’s head I’m the lion, she’s the witch, where’s the wardrobe please For how I need to be freed from these shackled knees Lift me higher, right beside her, love not lust, that is To that pond where my swan lovingly does give My other half which does lack any decency Wants to burn and woefully spurn the love for whom I plea Scorned and spurned, torn and burned, is this side so bitter Juxtaposed am I so against my self that withers
