CRADLE TO GRAVE
CRADLE TO GRAVE * When they get to pre-school they need ADD Teachers sometimes don't deal well with anarchy! * With Ritalin's arrival then all will be well, They'll sit in their desks like a vegetable * Later on, yup, it's Prozac time! Is it wrong not to feel always sublime? What's wrong with getting by on beer or cheap wine? * Or you can take Zoloft and then you won't care but you can't have an orgasm when you feel like a chair * Now it's even worse, whoops! you could be bi-polar What will be the next Up and coming disorder? * Diagnosis come like buzzwords for big Pharmie suit ticals who insult your intelligence tell you what you need to know * How about Alzheimers You know it's inevitable You know you might need it when you become incognitable * Bow down to Big Pharmie They made you their slave with a guaranteed income From cradle to grave * WordPlaya, May 2009 ********************************* Just a note here: I know there are people who really do have disorders and are properly diagnosed and helped with some of these drugs. What I am against is BiG Pharmie peddling and pushing their oh-so-profitable drugs by use of marketing and subliminal mind-control. All the while, they try convincing us that, not only do we all probably have these disorders, but we all need to be taking all these drugs to remedy the situation. Sorry….To me, only a competent licensed physician should be diagnosing us and telling us what we need to take OK! (even then, It might not hurt to get a second opinion) * Thanks! I'll get off my soap box now! **************** In an economy motivated by private corporate profit, the human effects of production are secondary, and social concern is a luxury. —Howard Zinn

I enjoy writing and since rediscovering the power of poetry, it has brought me much joy! My favorite poet is Richard Brautigan, and I am a big fan of freestyle poetry, as I find it less limiting and most creative. I also like spoken word poetry. ...
