cranberry Jim was a cantankerous old man who fiddled around with his excuse for a life, he plotted evil schemes with his dim-witted dreams laughing when he thought no one heard, cringing whenever a neighbor walked by wondering if the color was really set when he fell into the ink-pad next to the sink. 'what in the world?' was his astonished cry to nobody in particular as no one was there, he rubbed his head soundly and looked around over the hills and back again, and realized for the first time in a long time he was standing there, all alone...
