Crikey!
Crikey! When we first heard the news, we reeled in shock, the victim of a stingray; not mauled by a croc Not that it mattered, for we couldn't be sorrier to hear of the passing of this wildlife warrior In his trademark boots, khaki shirts and shorts, at one with the people or royals in their courts, this lovable larrikin was no slave to fashion no gaudy threads needed to convey the man's passion Snakes, crocs and lizards, with danger he flirted, he preached conservation and the world was converted animals of the fields or creatures in the ocean, he loved them all with the same depth of emotion Others will come along although it's unlikely we will forget the croc hunter or his signature "Crikey!"
