Crimson Cascades

The sun lights up my night And the moon brightens my day As I look upon the oeacn wide Staring into these crimson cascades The stars shine down on me They elope with my soul Then they begin to bleed dreams Secrets that I have never ever told The black sand softens my feet I smell the air as it whistles by I continue to gaze into the scarlet sea And watch as the horizon dies I feel the gentle touch of a chill Rolling down my spine As my emotions spill Into this ocean divine Such an oppressing sensation That leaves me to wonder Will this be my last temptation To let my mind ponder Over the body of this heaven That stretches beyond the naked eye I watch the tides as they redden And my ruby eyes cry Looking over my own enigma As it begins to rage My soul begins to quiver As I stare over these crimson cascades I can’t hold on much longer I’m breaking myself down The pull of the tide makes me stronger Even though I can’t seem to put my feet on solid ground Finally I decide To soak, and bathe In everything I tried to hide In these crimson cascades
