Crimson Tears

05 Jan 2005

My heart quickly beats As I think of you I allowed myself to be taken in Believed all the lies you told me Now I stare at myself in the mirror Watch my crimson tears drip to the ground There’s nothing I can do to stop crying This pain is far too real Each tear I shed tells a different story Speaks of the untold ways you hurt me But I can’t be angry The aching from within Far outbalances the hatred Yet if I could have just one wish It would be to gather all my tears And drown you in them
