Cursed Silence

I stop the words coming out of my mouth for they may spell Anger, hatred or animosity Or bring laughter and peace My heart is not sure for the words which I procure I stop the words coming out of my mouth I sit like a dumb fool Nobody listens to what I say Nobody cares, Nobody understands For touch the abyss in my words its me its me its me who sits like a solitary buffoon and listens to what they say I stop the words coming out of my mouth Afraid, it will hurt someone A trickle will drop from a eye or two So I befriend the silence and stare at the stars so high With my eyes closed I see someone listening to me The dream so sweet brings joy for sure But, I stop the words I feel like consoling, congratulating Blessing, encouraging But i am not sure For my words may be bitter, harsh and sour So i sit silent and dumb They think me cold and sour No heart, no feelings, no emotions to show But they dont feel the heart that beats the same Cries when hurt, laughs when in joy They see my face but miss the eyes They see my chest, but miss my heart I stop the words coming out of my mouth What good is to be dumb When you are not, For i know because I am the cursed ..This poem was written when i was 16 years old and i had begun writing...I found it lying somewhere...
