Damn You, Damn You and Your Rose
Who do you think you are How can you know me so well I am not some school girl to be turned with pretty words Made to blush with a letter rose Who do you think you are To enter my sanctuary To slide so effortlessly past my defenses To enter my inner most place Who do you think you are Reminding me of a part that lays in the dark A part of myself cut off, sleeping in the cold So I can survive and not be in pain. Who do you think you are You wake me, like a Chinook, a fake spring Now I am drowning in your ocean And I can’t have you You can't just leave me like this. It’s not fair You stormed the walls, you broke the lock You woke up the part of me I put to sleep Sleeping, waiting for my prince. But I can’t have you Sleeping soul, so that I could survive Three years of empty days and lonely nights All undone by a cyber rose A collection of @ and dashes Leading down into my numb core, waiting for My Prince You wake me, like a Chinook, a fake spring But I can’t have you. And it makes it even worse You breathed into me, you make me whole Woke me from the dark, crying out for you I can’t breathe, I can’t put it back to sleep Damn you, damn you and your rose **I am sorry for the lack of form. This is a rant that I just needed to get out of my head**.
