Damn You, How Did You Get In
I though I locked you out Raised the drawbridge, filled the moat with tears I cried them all to keep you out To wash you from my heart I look out my tower window, Inspecting on the troops I hear a whisper behind me, Avasondra I've come for you Like a ghost you suddenly appear You could realize be the most real person here My breath catching in my throat, My heart pounding in my ear My Page has silently crept into my heart again My pain still ragged from my first attempt To untangle myself from your charms And effortlessly again, you drag me to your arms I tried so very hard, not to let this happen To steel myself against your charms Your voice in the dark brings me to the brink Crashing over, your name upon my lips My dreams are now of your arms around me Hands caressing, voice whispering in my ear The sound of my name from his mouth My knees go weak, clenching things deep inside What do I do, with my shadow lover The one who crepts past all my walls As silently as a ghost A lover that owns my soul I gave him a choice, he did not choose me But the next day we fell right back where we were To cut him out of my life would kill me The agony of not having him totally is almost too much to bear Damn it Page, how did you get in here?
