Darkness aand Light

The light holds you in silence The dark comforts me in madness How do I get to where you are I can't find my way throught he labyrinth I feel the heat from your light Even as the dark seeps into my soul I am in a carapace that holds me prisoner Your luminosity can't penetrate The shroud I am cloaked in It's smotheriing me I know there is an opening But where, I keep struggling As I wrestle with my demons Your brillance surrounds me Searching for a crack Wanting to give light back to me But the shadows in me are strong They pull me futher from you Raging in my mind, in my heart Battling against you, against me How will my fight end Will I come into your light Or will I die With my soul caught in the jaws of darkness
