I have scattered myself too thin, these days and maybe I longed for the unopened door one too many times believing as it were another way and I am lost inside, floundering without you here. I ran before realizing the obvious standing stoically beside the never would, what a fool I was to let you adrift among the cloudless sky behind my memories, imperfect as they may be I still remember our need. how could I forget the wonder we once tasted you came to me from across the way and why did we linger why did we delay, where does that leave us leaves us here without I count the nights, these endless nights sweet torture no more, loneliness trails around this empty bed meant for two, and all that's left are these unspoken parts nameless broken hearts, and none of them are you ...
