And yet, still… You, me Gazing through different eyes, from far too different worlds Dare I say…? Opposite polls, oceans apart Yet somehow we are connected through space and time The self-appointed realist, pragmatist The apotheosis of Venus that is you These fleeting bursts of blissful madness Littered with infectious laughs, beaming hearts Refusing to reside in a void of cursed realities Heavenly adorned with tattoos by destiny’s design Still illuminated If only for that precious moment We shared, roamed the same universe If only We shared a world, much more Forgiving, understanding If only These ash gray mountains did fade before the cleansing sun, to reveal a hidden path that dwell Within the blessed valley of sacred promises That is you, daughter of Venus If only….
