daunted

daunted concealed from you by a garment of fluid hesitation; few bindings remain. i defer the instant you steal it to leave me naked before you. yours is a scrutinizing eye, with a glint of contest. i dread that moment of appraisal, as i yearn for its liberation. so long as the light is diffuse, i will veil myself in its gloom. convinced you recognize my vulnerability, i divulge that rejection would destroy me. 01-29-11 revised © tlp 2009
