Night falls... Abandoned again! To dream starved eyes of porous truth, Image-whispers of distortion rousing sultry paranoia, Draped in silken-hope-cocoons, Resting on velvet-lies of cushioned ecstasy. The godless kiss of a phantom-child, Trapping me in darkened bliss, For promises of guilt never to be felt... Frailty crushed by fear-soaked-footsteps of illusion. Awake young fiend! The morning-sun brands a new day, Chastising with its warm discomfort, Failing once again to cauterize these wounds, Drained of their grainy red purpose, Drawing out the honey-plasma-crust; The sweet sulphuric poison of existence. Witness the tribulation of the dawn, It waits not for acceptance, Setting in the wake of timeless recollection, Lusting after the dusky-pink-flesh-horizon, Spilled over the valley of shadowy virtue.
