Day to Day by Melissa Murphy As we grrow together day to day Time is the enemy we have to slay. It robs us of our youth, our memories and the things we always meant to say... As we grow together day to day Love is our constant..we have to obey... It challenges us with anger, temptation and pride. So, time may come and time may go, but this love of ours will continue to grow. From day to day and year to year, with you my love I'll have no fears.

This is the first time I have ever written a poem and I was scared to death to put it out there. I have written short stories and articles for papers but nothing like this. I was inspired to write this after sitting with a man younger than myself...
