Days of Change

·Mental Journey

Front porch sitting feeling twice my age Shoulder, knees and hips, all in pain Resting after a morning on throwing away A lifetime of what we tried to save So goes the days of change, As a friend sits facing the Reaper’s gaze, For my situation, he’d likely make a trade It’s so hard to let go of What I cannot save, So goes the days of change.

Mental Journey

I am on a journey of the mind. Contemplating the universe on every scale, and doing a complete introspective exploration. I may never be a literary academic, but I share my humble thoughts in hope that they may inspire others.
