De-Evolution
We the people, of the nation of fools, request that we be given the proper tools to breed self destruction, and teach it in our schools, and make new laws while ignoring the rules. They are the masters of their own fate, and they will not hesitate to preserve hate, if it helps their precious way of life propogate, and keeps all the sinners away from their pearly gates. It's time all of us together took a stand, against the ignorance that's overrun the land, against our government which kills like the Son of Sam, and seeks compliance from every woman and man. Thunder and lightning clash in the dark sky, the forces of good and dollar signs swinging blind. you never know what you're going to find when you stop seeing with your eyes, and begin to use your mind. Trapped on a rooftop, a polaroid hurricane, capturing snapshots and wondering whom to blame. Like a sniper who's taking careful aim, tabloid missle strikes, more of all the same. We watch our carefully constructed buildings crumble down, we cry and watch the fire consume every town, we stand by without making a single sound, our noble apathy progressing in leaps and bounds. The electronic static channel coming through, the more facts we have, the fewer things remaining true, and the glass chin of the red white and blue are the machinations that dictate all we do. Like a rocked boxer who is leaning in a hunch, like a CIA target eating a poisoned lunch, to start a downward spiral it doesn't take much. A nation waiting for the final knockout punch. In the thought machine, a devil always hides, biding his time, and rotting it from the inside. Those in charge are content to let it slide, so-called good intentions take us for a ride. We don't need a potion for eternal life, and we don't need a war that we watch others fight. We don't need your help to let us see the light, and we don't need to uphold lies to keep our human rights. We will refuse a government that always feeds us lies, and let them know that we will never be afraid to die. We can never give in, we have to try. because we the people will run our lives.
