Dead Ends
I sit idle watching desperate friends, Commit sins which commit them To dead ends to make ends No choices for them Just dark voices and then A short walk with no talk To a cage where they'll squawk but it wont matter, they mean naught These are a victim of the system which demands they desist but wont assist in allowing them to subsist beyond than just to exist and even though we're aware of this we're mostly remiss and dismiss those that suffer from this. Just close our eyes, act surprised then support it when they're chastised but it doesn't matter you know its lies.
