Dear Dendrite
One has to love the cracks and fissures that riddle every soul Pieces broken shards a miss, some love thats left a hole We give away a splinter here, carve out some rubble there Sometimes we end up giving more and find that its not fair Tough as nails we make it seem that we wont let it shatter We overlook the hairline cracks that ultimately matter Trying to plug the peppered voids as best as we know how Often just the quickest fix, to hold us just for now We wait for someone to bring the off-cuts, to help us fill them in Mould us back to human form, breathe new life from within And so it is that we will always need that extra loving hand When we break , they'll always build because they understand
