Dear Stranger

I apologize to you humbly For never writing you before I did not quite know how But here we are I am elated to see you again! You were the first person I saw Coming out of the womb You've turned into a doctor A father, a mother A son You've turned out to be my best friend And upon some accounts, my enemy In a way I find you all encompassing Here where the bones in my feet Meet the earth I tread One foot in front of the other Here is where we met Stranger, what would I be without you? You are what makes me single And when I am with one of you You are who I am with then All in all I would be bitterly alone Without you And so my love for you finds its crescendo Down upon your feet, your toes, I myself now do lay To give thanks, to give honour, for always being there Around each corner and upon every street You walk the walk for me You talk the talk You do all of it for me How do I thank you? Sometimes there seems to be a bit of confusion between us For all of us lead our own lives We must believe each life matters Else what is it all worth? As a bit of a parting comfort from one stranger to another I would like to leave you with the notion of The meaning of life being the crypto key to the universe You see, the thing is pretty big and it needs to balance out All of its space Given its relative static complexity The stars flow in the first principle to solve The requirements that bring us right into this moment Life is simply the easiest thing to manifest For the circle to complete It takes the most graceful way out
