Defiling Innocence
Dirty fingers of an obscene nature Bury me with labels of various crimes Superposing every ounce of blame upon me Injecting fear and panic into my system Unknowingly staining my image With harsh lies and insulting questions Transforming my integrity into a pair of dice Gambling in their hands the fate of an innocent life This entire investigation is ludicrous They should exculpate and release me Yet foolishly they continue Ignorantly exploiting empty crimes By Glenn McCrary © 2011 (All rights reserved)
