Definition of a Friend

Im writing this for a friend and any insight or help would be much appreciated to make it better Thank you I see you standing there memories flood my mind of both the good times and bad Thinking I haven’t been fair We’ve shared anger, laughs and tears You’ve always been so kind To me, Even when your mad Losing you is one of my greatest fears We stay up talking till late twilight Your friendship is my greatest find The way you make me smile is quite rad You say you love me and goodnight After all those wonderful times It felt like our friendship forever had been signed Those thoughts might have been arrogant, just a tad Because the wind of change comes, and blows life's chimes But when push comes to shove and you find yourself in a bind With feelings overwhelmingly sad Just look up in my face and see all of my love
