·Amanda

A wild untamed beauty Desolate wilder land, ugly with danger Vultures soaring, picking on carrion Bloom on a sand dune, stark, majestic Dry riverbed a scar White bleached skeletons Out of place sculptures Beautiful and depressing Wind swept dunes Shimmering in the sun Cold utterly dark night Heaven bejeweled by stars Dry riverbed a scar White bleached skeletons Out of place sculptures Beautiful and depressing A wild untamed beauty Desolate wilder land, ugly with disappointment Memories soaring, regurgitating the past Feelings showing, stark, painful Dry riverbed a scar White bleached skeletons Out of place sculptures Beautiful and depressing Wind swept heart A black hole in the sun Cold utter dark loneliness Heaven black never any stars Dry riverbed a scar White bleached skeletons Out of place sculptures Beautiful and depressing Zig zag tracks of a snake Sand blasted boulders Shimmering in the haze Mirages surrounding like cool pools Dry riverbed a scar White bleached skeletons Out of place sculptures Beautiful and depressing
