The sun-baked dunes, lay strewn across the arcane desert plains Slaughtered Like the bastard sons of a heartless king On windswept nights, they advance Thriving, like thieves in the night Passing the old caravans, in slumber under southern-cross skies Bedazzled, bejewelled Time stood still as they drank the night with dilated pupils and shallow breaths Lurking in shadows, the distant howls of a lonesome wolf The old wizard, the moon appears In full armour of exquisiteness, demanding ovation from a sheepish herd below In awe they were Mere coma-induced slaves to its magnificence The silence grew loud, louder As they stood with burdened senses At that moment, they knew That God exist…
