Now many years later 22 to be exact, we find a letter – before he knew me Where my man wrote …. This!!is what I feel I must be Two years of fighting, killing, loosing himself all in the name of our beloved country fighting a war for a family not yet known Loosing that dream forgetting about it changing his mind - a doctor that is what I want to be all because of killings, dying of friends, despair seen in others faces. Knowing this is the end and some might not see tomorrows end Change of direction and fate because of Have to’s not want to’s. Years of wasted happy times, loneliness Then meeting the woman of his dreams, Forced service behind him, bright future ahead, He starts this journey not knowing what it holds, He stubbles, he falls, he gets up, he makes mistakes, But still he carries on forced service made him hard He can get through anything if he did survive those dark years past, Then the now is no problem he is a survivor, he is a go getter. moving forward all the time. Years of married life making mistakes hardened hard to be softened. After many years forgivenes comes and true happiness can start. Forgiveness from the woman of his dreams feeling left aside, lonely, desertedand unloved, You see the service was all he knew and he gave it his all even years after joining just to fulfill his dream now wanting to be a doctor destiny changed. What a let down – university acceptance – bursary neglect. His dream to be a doctor shattered After all he suffered! after all he gave! after all he sacrificed! Yet again his paths leading to uncertainty past dreams still hidden, forgotten somewhere deep down in his heart. You might ask and what is This!! He knew he wanted to do he knew his destiny should be. If he did follow his dream then how different his live would be How more fulfilling it could have been. How many wasted years of searching it could have saved. A pastor I know a pastor I must be.
