Destined Strangers

A dark, cold, gloomy night Perfect night for a fading heart Erratic thumps I hear beneath Uneasiness I feel, I’m troubled!! Remedy I crave to ease these irregularities An experiment with provisions lacks the effort I seek the indulgence of a harmonic tune Head up high yet staggering in agony Whispers of clarity comes to mind as I walk the pathway A zephyr swiped across my nostrils with a scent of lavender Recognizable but unknown Frail knees trembles as an unsteady sight draws nears Heaven cries out in reminiscence of history Fate comes to a halt, as destined strangers crossed paths One last glance to say farewell Shadow permits only a fleeting look of forever.
