destructiveness is in us all

Her Goodbye: I know that nasty habits are hard to break But get a grip for heavens sake You've turned into the biggest loser A hopeless drunk and drug abuser You had the world right at your feet You had me, i was yours to keep Your excuse was you were disadvantaged That's why your now so disenchanted I'm sick of your destructive soul You've dug yourself a mighty hole Now you can sit in it all alone I would rather be living on my own His Response: You've got a nerve, damn hypocrite If i'm in a hole then you share my pit Because you have problems just like me With your locked doors and privacy Your destructive side was amplified And you too walked around dissatisfied I pitied you and for us both was seeking help But you thought about your own sweet self It's no secret with those scars on your arm That relief for you comes in the form of self harm So we both have devices for feeling better And i deserved a goodbye not a crummy letter
