Dilemma (just venting)
When I discuss with my children current events I find myself in a quandary. I feel like I superficially understand the world but I have no solutions. It frustrates me to hear my children blurt out answers without any life experience. This upsets me to hear their responses because they feel entitled. Give me this and give me that, thinking this will make them happy. I reiterate to my children that life is not quite as simple as they think. We have to work hard and diligently to provide and make ends meet. Their response is "our country should give us money" to survive. They say our country owes us because we didn't cause the existing problems. I think about my adult children's' dilemma because they can't find their dream job The current situation has made it challenging for them to make an honest living You attend a university and get a degree, thinking this is going to make things well. Unfortunately, no jobs are available, all there is, is a pandemic and the economy sucks. I hope to find some real answers to my children's' current life uncertainties. They don't want to hear that things are getting better and all they have to do is wait. Our world will have to do something quickly before we lose this generation. We must all work together to ensure the health, employment and MH status of our children today!
