Disappeared -- for Shaice
Sometimes, the essential person can disappear somewhere inside, leaving his shell to carry on...and that affects others... Disappeared, vanished, gone away Lightness follows, darkness stays Felt my dues had all been paid Now self-assurance starts to fade You've gone into your private hell And taken all my peace as well Disappeared, yes, but you're still here I see the shape but nothing's clear Features blurred, no substance there My eyes drip tears, my heart's stripped bare No you to share this pain; I wait With all your words of bitter hate Disappeared. Wish that I could be. Or blinded to this tragedy For you're not there to hear my plea You've gone and in your place I see, the empty face of a man I knew, one who blocks the sun from view.
