Disappointing

Felt so nervous when I asked you out, I don't even knowwhat I was thinking about, spent all morning making a plan, all that day I was mouse, not man. I thought a lot about what I should wear, I spent twenty minutes just doing my hair, I bought a shirt, forty pounds brand new, all soI could look good for you. You smiled at me as we passed in the hall, as I stared I nearly walked into a wall, you looked so pretty when you walked into class, I couldn't help looking at your beautiful..........eyes. I got you alone and we stood face to face, after an hour and thirty five minute long chase, I asked you the question, "Will you be mine?" youstarted to tell me whyyou had to decline. She's a lot like me in many strange ways, the food that she likes and the sport that she plays, there's another thing that we both enjoy, and it doesn't involve going out with a boy. AsI walked home that night I remembered the day, the shock that I got outside room fourteen-A, staring at her hair with it's long golden curls, as she told me it's just that she prefers girls! Just thought I'd try something humourous, try to bring a few smiles, all opinions welcome, Meako.
