Disappointment

Chelsea fails She falls to the ground Like a single leaf in Autumn Not making a sound As her foot steps Breaking that leaf in two Chelsea now realizes None of her dreams will come true Broken and alone, The leaf reminisces Chelsea thinks back On all her life wishes The wind carries the leaf To it's new destination Showing Chelsea the way For purpose of separation As her new life unfolds She hopes for the better Just like an innocent leaf Depends on good weather When the leaf is left to disintegrate Lifeless as in a coma The truth hits Chelsea hard Because what is life without your high school diploma?
