disbelief

i give her a poem of mine to read to tell me what she thinks the disbelief in her eyes!! she doesn't believe it's mine she thinks i stole it from someone i'm like...say what?!! you're lying, she says you couldn't have written this by yourself you don't have the skills or the talent if what you're saying is true then, you've got to prove (it) write a poem about Luke that i can do...but... with poetry- you don't rush, it comes to you or else it'll be a fluke so, right there and then i wrote a poem about her her name and the colour of her hair should have seen the look in her eyes! eyeballs pumping as if they're about to blast! i'd proven myself beyond doubt i am the poet... i am the poem... i am poetry! you can't separate these from me!

As far as I can remember, istarted writing poetry when I was able to take pen and pen and scribble something. At that time, of course, I wasn\'t that aware of the power of what I was scribing. I met guys of McJurni's calibre, they resurrected that...
