Do I Look Fat In These Genes?
I found you weeping there between your DNA and your mind As time passed on you implanted this virus inside you This virus never loved you It ate at your heart before it dwelled in your mind Countless hours staring at a distorted reflection As the virus stared back at you The way the wind kisses your hair The way your cheeks touch your eyes every time you smile The way your lips always find its way to mine And the way your body fits puzzled in mine I hope that whenever you see your reflection you see me So that you are never dissatisfied Because you look better in your genes than your jeans The way your DNA has sprouted you thats the way I want you These jeans have tangled your beauty Your genes make you mine These jeans have lied to you These jeans have made you blind And I am here to find you where your genes have broken I'm here to find you where somehow you lost yourself Don't cover your genes with jeans Because behind that body that you cover lay the perfect genes So to me your genes fit perfectly.
