Do you dance the way we used to dance? Or laugh, like we once laughed in the rain. I wish that I could go back there again. Your sparkling eyes that held me in a trance, Thrilled to know their sparks were aimed at me. How I rested, cheek against your knee, In warmth and comfort of your loving glance. Do you hold someone now, like you held me? Your arms a shield against a stormy sea A wall, a shelter from the great expanse. Well, maybe it's a good thing to be free Since now I find it easy to be me. But I'm not one to wish away romance, I hope you dance the way we used to dance.
