Domino Effect

Ain’t it funny how time flies And things work out Don’t realize And don’t doubt That what we do Will lead to better things Luck runs out, then the phone rings Time to shine, never knew that Some you helped would give it right back Now you thank them and you start again Just found out you got a true friend Not that type, not the buddy way. The kind that steps to you, has got to say That what you did put them back on track. A helping hand to get their life back. Ain’t it weird how something so easy Can mean the world to someone so needy. So in life, there’s no wonder why You’re down on luck, no need to cry Because you live in a simple way Show love, be kind every single day There’ll be some people that you affect. When others don’t they’ll show you respect. Lend a hand when you really need it. It’s worth your effort, you can now see it. Things work out, you see happy times, So you relax and you write rhymes About the love in the world today The attitude that we need to stay Look to God, every day I pray That we can live life from day to day Knowing that the only thing we need to do Is make sense of this world, the human zoo And show love and show true respect And spread the wave, the domino effect.
