Dominoes
I found a stuffed flower in a tree today. It had two eyes and a nose And a smug little grin that made me want to disembowel it. It was pink too. I'm not sure why but this was the perfect crux for a day full of oddities; Despite said flower's antagonizing cheer I had to take special note of this culmination, The enormity of the divergence from my day-to-day And the comparative enormity of the Universe. I felt the impact of this rogue flower like a semi Driving down the tubal kalidescope of my dendrites, Paradoxically realized simultaneously The infinitesimal nature of my existance And the paramount import of my every action. One in a series of Dominoes. I left it exactly where it was.
