Don't look back, But don't let go.

·SilentSmile

I’m slowly letting go Your grip has become weak The seasons changed underneath Your the star in the sky, Your the star in the sky I’m becoming strong. Like you Letting go of what was never true Never felt so good, never felt so right I can find my way Don’t come back to me There is something buried We found that out tonight When our fates collided We never felt so right So let her go, don’t keep going Don’t let her go, keep on going This battle is fought with words The victim is left with a broken heart She walked out the door I chased her once more To only turn around She’s not coming back this time Follow her, don’t let her go Turn around, don’t say one word Truth is a fight, can we win this? Trust is key, don’t let go of me The way I see it now Is not the same for you So when I tell my truth I know it’s not the right thing to do We had our chance but failed Never said just what was real The waves are high, the tide rising more Washing up the blood from this war Standing on the beach, your fate was decided I watched you sail away Into the arms of a different fight.
