Sometimes I feel that its all I deserve The constant comparisons that I Rarely win The unsubtle hint The guilty confession The joke at my expense Don’t you have a sense of humour? The daily dribble Of meow and hiss The new excitement That I could never provide Because I’m just a shadow in the corner Coiled, motionless, forgetting to breathe As I watch
