Splinters of me in every direction one in the eye defies all detection Shards of ‘I am’ might be seen when I’m missing Shades of the gloss from days there was kissing Scent resonates in the silence of night gone but remains in a vanishing light So goodbye, fare well every heart I caressed you were the reasons my done life was blessed
