Don't cry African i utter to myself must escape from the chaos that's life calm the inner storms through searchin' for love on a place consumed by wars has taken it's toll on my mind, body and soul pray for our child soldiers it's all gone horribly cold greed at the centre of it all money must be Caesars' curse they even tried to trick JESUS CHRIST my Lord with this over rated thing had my ancestors locked in chains got millions starvin' at home I forgive but don't ask me to forget honouring them by the freedom captured in my creativity I must confess poetry is my emotional outlet were I can express how I feelin the process lettin' of steam to make this world a better place Don't cry African I feel your joy I feel your pain it's flowin' through my veins stand up! the blackness is coverin' my skin trust wht's within racist! please forgive them be strong our time has come there's no more shackles but that of the mind free thyne self we are blessed with the cradle of life stop the abuse embrace our women to the world at peace wipe away your tears the African Renaisance is here...
