Dont you know youre drowning, sweetheart?
Chilling air dances, white around us the stars falling in drops of silver light my eyes following the swirling of snow continuous falling to cluster mixed with ash, us out of sight oh it's not cold, sweetheart I watch you step closer to the indigo lake hush of each bare foot on the mossy ground open your eyes, darling, are you awake? Into the frigid water you step without a sound don't go any further, stay on the shore with me Blue water lapping at the hem of your laced gown, you steal below the mirrored surface ahead I can feel the water drumming at your ears, going down "I can hear it calling me," you said please don't listen to the ripples, love don't you know you're drowning, sweetheart? but this is precisely what you wanted, isn't it? it's hard to watch your mind fall apart endlessly pursuing death, when will you quit? why do you shun contentment? pockets of air burst though the facade we're trapped in this arctic wasteland of our mind dig my feet into frozen soil, broken glass under my tread run towards the water, diver under, reaching for your hand don't you know you can't die, sweetheart?
