Door Handle(Second Act)

For The Reader: I have already posted this poem to this forum so there are some of you who may be familiar with it. Unfourtunatly I ran into technical difficulties and so that poem had to be erased. However this is a heavily revised edition and so you may find yourself surprised by some of the differences. At any rate enjoy the read and let me know what you think. And now...for the second time I present Door Handle I’m looking for a door handle In history’s junkyard where Degrading, corroded Skeletons litter a landscape In which bumper stickers, seat covers And even old books Become priceless artifacts This is a place where I could linger But it’s time To find that door handle
