Dormant Comatorium

I lay incoherent Ascending into my subconscious Floating into nothingness Encased in my custom made purgatory The feeling is frightening, disguised as bliss This foul contradiction has me torn Born from contortion Abortion from becoming what I hate Fate has its own way of saying hello at times it sees fit Sitting Waiting Watching Making an appearance when things aren’t going as planed I finally land and find myself staring at a place of loneliness I belong here I walk towards it But as I draw near Fear grips me and the dark vibration shakes me I’m blown away Back into the never ending purgatory I’ve created It seems I have no place to belong Strongly filtered from everything The stinging realization stirs me within Even a place of loneliness has rejected me With the soothing desperation singing me songs note to note I float among nothingness once again A boat on water An empty vessel in human flesh Fresh amongst the new places I find and fail Stale amongst the world I have been disconnected from The infectious tragedy of my failure is intoxicating So now I accept my fate willingly Filling the void with darkness I harness with my feelings to bind Hoping to find somewhere I belong I wait here in my stag purgatory My dormant comatorium
