DOWN ON THE FARM
DOWN ON THE FARM They’re minding the farm while farming the minds And the seeds they are planting are distortions and lies They’re hard at work and up at dawn milking the populace with religious dogma They sow the seeds of bigotry and hate with socialist hysteria from an anti-union base A little Faux patriotism and some home grown homophobia All Paid for in cash from some undisclosed donors And the farm has been fruitful and The farm has been good especially for those in charge of the loot But those in control grow lazy and fat while the poor and complacent starve to death And everyone knows that you sow what you reap when what you are sowing Is anarchy. WordPlaya, July 15, 2012 I don’t know about you but I’m feeling more and more like I’m ready to give a French haircut to some of these people in charge of this farm.
