Dream
What good is a dream When the dew lit morning light Fades the smiles into foggy recollection When the crystalizing reality of the day Tears at your heart, stealing that last hope And no matter how hard we fight All is lost to the ravages of time Why do we savor our dreams A dream is a light Hung at the end of the maze of life We walk steadily toward it Its star guides us when we feel lost As our time draws to a close And we gaze through the spyglass of experience We all ultimately pine for the days of youth When a simple spark of inspiration Could bring to life a universe of possibility Don’t let your light die When each tunnel collapses into darkness Hang a new light and march on Remember, it is not important to get to the end of the maze It’s important to make the journey Stop and rest when necessary Enjoy the sights along the way And most of all, don’t forget to Dream

Mental Journey
I am on a journey of the mind. Contemplating the universe on every scale, and doing a complete introspective exploration. I may never be a literary academic, but I share my humble thoughts in hope that they may inspire others.
