It arrived in the clutches of sleep, internal state altered; a view of every experience, a lightness, escaped thoughts. I saw it all: the rich sensation of life, but richness contained. The inconsequence of a ripple upon a river; fleeting and severed, no reason for its shape to be maintained. This feeling alluring, suddenly I wake with a scream. Something has changed.
