Dreams of Bubble Wrap

was it wrong of me to want everything and yet, I waited for doors that never shut lingering around wayward thoughts lost in the mountains of anything but springtime is almost here again winter was colder than I seem to remember fall slipped by before we knew what to do and summer slept as the waves tolled by, why? can you blame me for wanting that craving that safety, I've never known yet always believed in, someday some way songs in my head remind me of another time, when you were my everything now, I am nothing but words on a page left to the elements I'll soon disappear...
