Hopes unmet. 
Life's a bubble, 
it gives no trouble, 
And so I wept. 
I wept for hopes. 
I wept for fears. 
I wept for all those unshed tears. 
I wept for truths. 
I wept for lies. 
I wept for all those sightless eyes. 
For even though I hurt and ache, 
And though I've had all I can take, 
And though they live their lives at ease, 
Their souls will never be appeased.
