You wipe your eyes Because you can’t believe That fish are sitting on the chairs. But what is going on here!? There are birds and stars Airborne dancing at top of the stairs. The moon tickles the sun And doesn’t let go Until it rains happy tears. And they playfully pretend to be racing Thus making all the noise, As if shifting in high gears. You shake your head in disbelief And thus you notice A bear sleeping in your cradle. Now they also Start to mumble, and to argue With some hurdles jumping cattle. Finally you chase away the snoring bears, But you hear an army march. Little ants demanding treats, While stating that they love And won’t budge! And won’t leave, Without your under the pillow sweets! Stunned and scared you hand it over, They kept their word and left the room. But there’s already knocking on the door!? An uninvited group of monkeys jumps in. Making faces, pulling ears, While rolling on the carpet floor. In disbelief you stare at the window, Because you noticed something moving. It can’t be true, but there it is A giant giraffe is nearing in. It invites you for a slide down its neck, And lifts you up with an ease. From way up high about a mile You start to slide down The slick necks seam. And while sliding you detect Winged horse waiting to fly you To your long awaited dream.
