Drive In

·Yogurt

Lost in a trance of emotion and confusion, My eyes quickly turn to catch the sudden movement Of the scene change glowing brightly on her smooth face. Her lips part in a way that snatches my focus. She turns and catches me staring, but then she smiles. As if our minds are in sync, we lean in to kiss. Our lips meet as if unleashing all our desires As we melt together from our lips to our souls. lips on lips, tongue to tongue, to teeth, to neck, to breasts. We slow down, the credits crawling up the black screen And headlights beaming in remind us where we are. I feel her smile against my lips, and her warm breath. She lays her head softly on my chest and listens. My heart pounds faster as she lightly strokes my arm. The fog on the inside of the glass gives comfort. I start the car, roll the windows down to cool off. Though I can’t tell you what the movie was about, I will never forget my night at the drive-in.
